DiGiDome w/Pan, Tilt & Zoom

When it comes to quality and features, you've arrived with this setup. Let's start with the basics: This Pan, Tilt and Zoom setup is designed to offer several choices for interior or exterior installation. As you can see (right), there are several way to mount the Dome. Your choices are a wall mount or a recessed ceiling mount. You may also Hoist the camera (Hoist is not included). However when ordering, just specify whether you want the Exterior Wall Mount or Recessed Mount (Ring) included per camera at no additional charge. Our Color DiGiDomes Panning & Tilting capabilites offer you a 355 degree (adjustable rotation) and a 90 degree up or down angle (look straight down if needed). Your camera(s) can be set to automatically pan back & forth, stopped and pointed in the direction desired all via our easy to use DiGiCam interface. And did we mention incredible Zooming features? The magnification of our Color Digital DSP 1/3" Sony CCD camera offers an incredible 230x Zoom! That's right. You'll receive an Optical 23X and a Digital 10X zoom which is incredible to say the least. Yes, you have full control of any DiGiDome whether your at the main location of your DiGiCam system or on a Remote PC somewhere else in the world.

How is this accomplished? Well, put simply, by our DG-Net PC interface (seen right). Here's how: On our DiGiDomes are 3 leads. One is for power, another for video and the last for Data (two wires/conductor). Obviously you'll have to plug your camera into an outlet for power, then run your video cable and data wire back to your main setup. Plug the video/coax cable into the back of the DiGiCam PCI card and then take your Data wire and plug these two wires into the RS-485 + and - connector. Plug the included power supply (not seen) into your DG-NET and plug that into any power source. Next plug the included DG-NET serial cable into a serial port on your PC. That's it! Now the DiGiCam can control all of your cameras functions locally or remotely.

Software setup made simple: How simple? Click on System Configure. On the General Settings tab, click on PTZ Device Install (seen below) and select DiGiDome.

Next click the Connection button and a window will pop up (below).

Click on Activate and then click OK two times. Now any time you want to bring up your PTZ controls, just click on the PTZ Icon (left).

A moveable PTZ window pops up giving you the choice to move the camera Up, Down, Right, Left, Zoom In and Out or even have it Auto-Pan!

Need to change controls to a different camera? With a mouse click you can. Select the drop down menu and choose the camera number you want to control. Hopefully you can get a feel for how simple all of this really is!

Our DiGiDome is offered in a Hi-Res version of 480 lines and a 1.0 lux rating (low light ability), Built-in Auto Iris, Back Light Compensation (BLC), Internal Line lock, Mirror Imaging, Negative Image with a Programmable On Screen Display (OSD) and hold on to your hats,...Built-in Auto Focus! Yes, with this feature you'll never need to focus the camera. Simply aim in the direction you desire and presto, the camera focuses automatically! All of this and more is able to be controlled via our DiGiCam! Talk about saving precious time...

And speaking of you saving time, when you purchase from us you can expect to receive your PTZ Domes with the Camera Auto-Focus setting ON (as most prefer, however can turned off via the DiGiCams OSD), Jumper pins set accordingly and camera already installed and mounted within the Dome enclosure.
