This PTZ23IR provides clear crisp 700 TVL resolution video from the SONY module inside, 23X Optical Zoom and 16X Digital Zoom, and Night Vision up to 270ft. You can expect to see a face up to 100ft away with this camera, day or night. Best of all, it is compatible with any of our DVRs and can be controlled remotely over the internet on your iPhone, iPad, or PC Computer.

Thanks to its advanced pan/tilt mechanism, it provides fast, precise movement with continuous 360-degree pan and tilt and 180 degree Auto Flip when you reach the end of the vertical axis. You can easily control the lens position with a mouse or a joystick to look at the object you are monitoring. The day and night function makes this camera ideal for operating under diverse lighting conditions. When light conditions turn poor, the IR cut filter will be switched to accept IR illumination from its on-board infrared LEDs. The camera also switches itself automatically from color to black and white, assuring optimal image quality at all times.

This high quality PTZ that has a special protocol made specifically for our DVRP, DVRPF, and DVRULT series DVRs. This will allow you to use our unique 3D positioning feature where you can simply draw a box around any part of the view of the camera with your mouse and the PTZ will automatically zoom in and re-position itself to center the object. It also integrates easily with our DVRs to easily program tours and presets, even sitting from your computer.

Power Supply
This camera operates on 24 Volts AC and draws a maximum of 35W with the Infrared on and 13W with the infrared off. A single camera wall-plug in power supply is included with the camera. Be sure to protect this power supply from the elements.

We do not recommend use of a Power Distribution Box with this camera because of its power consumption.

Camera Control
This camera can be controlled directly with a PTZ Joystick Controller or with our Security DVRs. When connected to our Security DVRs you can remotely control PTZ cameras through the internet by using your smart phone, iPad, or PC computer. Our DVRs support iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets.

Automatic Tours
This Long Range Infrared PTZ camera can be set to run automatic tours, panning, tilting and zooming to preset viewing locations for a preset duration; then moving to the next preset view. This can be easily achieved when used with our DVR Recorders.

Preset Alarm Positions
The camera has the ability to pan, tilt and zoom to a preset location if a specific alarm is received, such as a motion detector, door alarm or other sensor conditions. This is accomplished by connecting the sensors to the alarm inputs on our select DVR and commanding the camera from the DVR when the alarm trigger is received.
